This page is maintained by Slyg. It describes current in-app practices and shared responsibilities between Slyg, flyers and seekers — not a certification.

Built-in protections

  • Accounts require sign-in before you can post a trip, post a request or send an offer.
  • Contact details on your profile (email, phone, address) are visible only to you.
  • Every commission is shown with its basis (per item or per kg) so price expectations stay clear.

Before you agree

  • Confirm what's in the package and where it was bought. Ask for a receipt if it matters to you.
  • Agree on who pays for the item, who pays the commission, and when.
  • Never carry a sealed package from a stranger without inspecting it first.

At the hand-off

  • Meet in a public place when possible.
  • Take a photo of the item when you collect or hand it over.
  • If you're shipping, use a tracked service.

Report a problem

If something feels off — a suspicious listing, a user who isn't following through, or anything that worries you — please get in touch with the Slyg team so we can look into it.

Slyg is a marketplace, not a courier. Final responsibility for what's carried and how it's handed over sits with the two users involved.
